TheDay is a countdown application developed by MBPL. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. TheDay is designed to operate entirely on your device and does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal information.

TheDay does not collect or transmit personal data. The app does not require account registration or user identification.

  • No names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • No location data
  • No device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)
  • No IP addresses
  • No analytics or tracking information
  • No financial or payment data

3. Local Data Storage

Event names, dates, and notes that you enter into the app are stored locally on your device using Android’s Room persistence library.

  • Data remains only on your device.
  • No data is transmitted to external servers.
  • No third parties have access to your data.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.

4. Permissions

TheDay is designed to function without requiring sensitive device permissions such as location, contacts, microphone, or camera access.

If internet access exists in the app configuration, it is not used for collecting or transmitting personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

TheDay does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, cloud storage services, or external data processors.

6. Contact Information and Email Communication

If you choose to contact us via email for support, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

7. Children’s Privacy

TheDay is a general audience application. Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

8. User Control

You have full control over your data:

  • Add, edit, or delete events within the app.
  • Uninstall the app to permanently remove all stored data.

9. Data Retention

All event data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you contact us by email, we retain correspondence only as long as necessary to respond to your request.

10. International Data Transfers

TheDay does not transfer app data internationally. All app-generated information remains on your device.

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if app functionality changes. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date above.
